The Walt Disney World Resort is a complex of several amusement parks in Kissimmee (Florida) near Orlando in Florida, USA. The resort is owned by the Walt Disney Company and currently hosts four different theme parks, two water parks and 23 hotels. The largest area of the Walt Disney World Resort is located in the cities of Bay Lake and Lake Buena Vista in the Reedy Creek Improvement District. Together, the parks plus additional facilities such as roads, open spaces ungenutze a gross area of approximately 15,000 hectares, which the Walt Disney World Resort to the largest leisure complex the world.
